Barix RetailPlayer Proxy

The RetailPlayer Proxy Server is a software which allows 3rdparty integrators to implement RetailPlayer solution into their own management portal. The proxy runs on Windowsor Linuxenvironments and forwards secure SSL websocket connections to a single HTTPinterface. The proxy further handles the SSL termination.The SSL certificates will be issued in accordance with the customer specific URL.

The Proxy Server is a simple solution to integrate RetailPlayer in management portals without taking care of the websocket connections and the SSL security.

Security


Barix RetailPlayer Proxy by default uses SSL encryption for communication between Proxyand RetailPlayer. Customer Specific certificates based on Barix certification authorityand customer local domain will be provided.

Non SSL communication is supported and can be used in closedInfrastructures.



Software updates and Maintenance


Software updates for the Barix RetailPlayer Proxywill be provided by pre-built installation scripts.
