We would like to inform you that the design of following product series has been updated to improve compatibility and interoperability with evolving server and industrial computing platforms.

- CP-114EL Series
To optimize operation across a wider range of PCIe host platform implementations, Moxa has enhanced the board design by incorporating a PCIe switch bridge. This enhancement improves platform adaptability and provides a more consistent integration experience across different motherboard and BIOS implementations.
What will change?
The new hardware revision will implement the following change:
- An enhanced board design by incorporating a PCIe switch bridge.

Driver Enhancement
To facilitate product replacement and minimize deployment effort, the Windows driver has been enhanced to preserve existing port configurations during migration. When the new board is installed in the same PCIe slot as the original board, existing COM port assignments and driver settings can be retained.
Prior to replacing the existing board, we recommend that you install the Windows driver:
- Version 4.3 or later (for Windows 10 and later, Server 2022 and later)
- Version 3.2 or later (for Windows 7 to 8.1, Server 2018 R2 to 2012 R2)
This ensures seamless migration and retention of existing system configurations.
