We would like to inform you that Moxa is going to make changes to UC-8100 Series of Arm-based computer.
These changes will be implemented July 1, 2022.
Please review the details below to determine how these changes will affect your products and/or operations.
Operating System
Bootloader
The new product revision v3.2.0 cannot install previous OS Image v3.4 or before. If you already have a customized image that was build based on previous OS image version, we recommend you to perform APT update first following How to Keep Moxa IIoT Gateway Software Up-to-date, then build an updated image by referencing instructions from https://github.com/Moxa-Linux/resize-image
Note: Product Revision is the Rev. number printed on the sticker of a Moxa Arm-based computer.
The new model revision is estimated to be available after July 1, 2022.
Depending on the demand for the reviewed version and stocks lasting, we could push the estimated available date either forward or back.

- Updating Moxa Industrial Linux to version 1.1.0. For the release note of MIL 1.1.0,

Bootloader
- Supports Admin password for Bootloader configuration menu to enhance security.
- Adding an option to install OS image from USB
- Adding an option to boot from a USB drive.
Important Notice
